000037 - the best things in life are...
our class had grown since i last blogged. we are now up to about 15 students strong. it's kinda weird seeing more students join our class since we already did our introductions last week, i think most of us haven't spoken with the new classmates as much. but i'm sure we'll all get to know each other as the year progresses.
we had "show & tell" from some of our classmates today, and i must say i'm pretty much in awe by how talented they all are! very cool stuff they have all done previously. alex also brought in a card game called set and it was quite addictive. we had half the class playing it by the end of the day. i'll probably dream of these weird shapes and shouting "set" tonight when i sleep!
it's strange, i've never really been this excited about study and uni before. part of me is scared that i won't be able to keep up with the technical side of things but the prospect of working on the projects are pumping my adrenaline. i'm glad my individual project idea is going in the right direction, too. more on this in the future.
they say smell stays in your memory the longest and i think that's quite true. i smelt something i hadn't smelt in quite a while and it suddenly brought back the experience and memory i had associated it with it. it's really weird how something like smell can remind you of something a long time ago or even something you've kinda forgotten... yet you can't really describe or explain that smell to anyone but yourself.
