000072 - 24 hours is coming soon

haven't blogged in a while due to uni project presentations and deadlines. finally getting a chance to catch my breathe again, which is a relief.

but i still have submissions due early next week and i just realised that the 24 hour challenge is this weekend (go register and participate)!!

i was 50/50 on whether to do it or not, but since it's already been minimal amount of sleep the past month dealing with uni stuff, i thought i might as well make another crack at this challenge! this will be my 4th attempt (with no idea what to do yet) and i hope i can get to 24 pages this year.

you might have even heard about this challenge from this age newspaper article.

was at the "are you going to buy that?" zine fair last saturday afternoon, selling knight-edge comics. didn't know what to expect since i've never been to one of these and wasn't expecting crowds or atmosphere like comicfest or supanova either. fellow comickers and exhibitionists (giggle), dean rankine, daniel reed and david blumenstein were all there as well selling stuff! dean gave me a copy of his latest mini-comic "A is ..." and i brought a sticker off him. i got some cool ass crumpleton experiments comics from daniel and pre-ordered the herman dvd off david!

anyway, probably blog again later!

ps: although i love the concept, i'm not the biggest fan of gorillaz, but i gotta admit i love that new single "feel good inc."
