000055 - uni projects - sem 02

above are my two major uni projects for the master of design (multimedia design) course at swinburne university i did for semester 02 this year. left is my individual project dubbed "beetle-a-go-go!!". it's an interactive flash game based on the tamagotchi as the inspiration. on the right is the group project i made with alex, it's a short horror/thriller movie called "darkroom".

000054 - woohoo! i'm a material girl... uh, i mean boy...

parents came home from their holiday last saturday, and boy, am i glad they are back.

cooking, doing the laundry and cleaning the house ain't all that bad. but the planning involved for each of these are a definite pain the arse. i had to think what to have for my next meal and then plan the shopping list, etc. laundry, i had to wash on a schedule so i wouldn't run out of clean underwear (hey, i thought about the old "inside out and reverse" trick, but i'm not *that* decrepit). anyway, enough with my bitchin'...

mum went above and beyond the call of duty because she brought everything on the shopping list i gave her before she went. whenever i give dad a list of things to get for me, i'd be lucky if he brings back 3 out of 5. mum, this time, got me the whole she-bang! some of these include, an apple ipod mini (silver) for my belated b-day, tenhjo tenge and air gear manga tenkubons and astroboy: omega factor (not available in australia) for the GBA. as a bonus from their trip, i also got their hand-me down digi cam, a sony dsc-t3 cyber-shot! heck, she even got me 2 anime magazines when they were in japan!!

as much as i hate to be materialistic, i'm a very very lucky boy \(^__^)/
