went to see
batman begins sunday night. the movie itself was also very very enjoyable. didn't have high expectations but came out more than satisfied. i really loved the bruce wayne ninja bits (obviously), in fact the whole bruce wayne development section was really well done.
christopher nolan (
momento), the director, even mixed up the flashback chronologically, which was great. i can see the whole father-son angle with the characterisation and i'm sure it wasn't a coincidence this movie was released on the same father's day weekend.
great casting, too.
christian bale, morgan freeman, gary oldman (wow),
liam nelson,
cillian murphy and
michael caine. and yes, i also enjoyed
katie holmes' nipples under that silk top towards the end of the movie! j/k XP~. it wasn't the most perfect movie though, i had minor gripes with the fighting always so friggin' closeup and a lot of good dialogue spoken over dramatic and loud music.

didn't do as well as i had hoped at this year's
ozcomic's 24 hr challenge. my entry, "
sk8 or die!", only got up to 10 pages before i fell asleep. i tried to do something a bit different, light and fun this year. i hope others enjoyed it. definitely checkout all the other great
entries this year, there are a lot of talented artists and writers out there!

my uni projects are officially complete and submitted. now i feel much relieved. the
knight-edge animated trailer went well, the
3D maya short animation turned out good thanks to some appropriate source music, the video interview on my group partner turned out as good as i had hoped and the stop-motion animation
lego project got a pretty good reception, too. now i'm finally looking forward to catching up with some much needed sleep, comic book reading, video gaming and just plain vegetating!
speaking of which, i just watched my first ever episode of the OC tonight... so this is what young people are into these days (>__<) ----- but i guess i can't do too much of that. i want to finish more pages for a charity project, just plain draw fun stuff if i can find the time and momentum and get onto drawing some more
knight-edge pages. speaking of
knight-edge, i also got a chance to upload a quicktime of the completed
ke trailer!!
